Ever since December last year, Jupiter and then Pluto entered business-minded Capricorn, offering a one-two punch in matters of the economy. Ever since that time, the economy has taken center stage, and long-festering problems blew up big, transforming the way we look at ourselves and our global society in the process.

Jupiter goes retrograde today, effectively putting its exaggerative energy to sleep for a while. Pluto went retro last month and is slowly making its way back to the sign of Sagittarius, where it was previously transitting since the mid-90s. Jupiter and Pluto both turn direct in September, and Pluto returns to Capricorn in late November.

We can expect, therefore, that issues relating to the economy will die down for the next few months, until next autumn. We must be aware that that does not mean our economy will be in good shape, but just that the media isn’t bring it in an alarming way to the forefront of our consciousness. In the meantine, especially from mid-June, we can expect a long hot summer when issues of war and terrorism take up our focus. The good news is that from late next year the era of terror-related instability will finally end and a new world-order will take root. The next era will then be upon us, lasting from late next year through 2024, when corporate power and economics are totally transformed.
