Today Mercury goes retrograde until June 19. Mercury retrogrades are periods when the energy related to the planet Mercury and the sectors it rules can go a bit screwy. Communication can go haywire with crossed wires and misunderstandings. If you are traveling there could also be delays. Mercury retro periods are more annoyances than anything major, but still they bring their fair share of headaches.

It is best to be aware of this energy over the coming weeks and not take anything for granted. Emails may not arrive and important letters should be sent certified. Try to put off signing important contracts or making big decisions until late June. You should expect the unexpected, and try not to get angry at other people over communications issues, as these may may be innocent misunderstandings. Try to keep cool and focussed on solutions, not on pointing fingers of blame.

Mercury retros can be extremely productive periods if you try not to take on new work but focus on catching up on all the things that have accumulated on your to-do list.
