Uranus goes retrograde today and will remain that way until the early days of November. When an outer planet goes retrograde it is a time when its energy tends to be more internally focussed. Uranus is the planet of change and radical alterations. It is a time for a revolution from within.

This month marks the 42nd Birthday of the Revolver Album (It finished recording on June 21, 1966). This is one of my favorite Beatles songs, and it is still quite fresh sounding. I read it described somewhere as the first Drum and Bass song, which is so true. In the documentary about the song above, John says a lot of his inspiration came from the Tibetan Book of the Dead. The lyrics pretty much sum up how to deal with Uranus retrograde energies. If you have any planets from 19 degrees to 22 degrees in your chart, you will especially be effected by this energy. No matter what change comes your way in the upcoming months, just turn off your mind, relax and float downstream….
