Yeah, man….This is one of the few hippie songs I can tolerate, even with the bloated, overlong guitar riff improv jam, the first five minutes are kind of soulfoul and poetic. Mars enters Virgo today. Mars isn’t so happy in Virgo, since Mars is the planet of aggression and extroverted energy, while Virgo is a bit shy and passive aggressive. Freebird kind of captures that Mars in Virgo vibe by being both rocking and introspectively groovy at the same time.

This is also a day when mind and heart come together to make some sudden changes. It’s a good day to walk away from controlling situations to commune with your true soul needs. Don’t you know this bird can’t change? Gotta Fly Freebird…..
