EB White: Unsung Literary Genius

I don’t remember much about the book Charlotte’s Web except it was about a pig and a spider and it made me cry. It was written by EB White who, although forgotten by the mainstream world, is considered one of the most outstanding literary minds of the 20th century. He also wrote Stuart Little , as well as co-writing The Elements of Style, the bible of American English grammar and usage. He was also one of the brilliant wordsmiths from the Golden Age of the New Yorker magazine. If you have never read any of his adult writing, they are worth seeking out.
